As a mom, it can be hard to find time for yourself and your interests. One way I try to dedicate time to myself is by enjoying a good book. For me, it can be a quick way to relax the constant chatter that exists in my brain, and let go of the stress of the day. Although I do not get the opportunity to read as much as I used to, I am working hard to change that! I’m excited to share my most recent favorite reads, and promise to continue to update you along the way! Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to include some fun books for the littles, because let’s be honest, I read mostly children’s books anyway!

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens - This is a fantastic story with an unexpected ending. It took me a few chapters to get into, but well worth the wait. Like many others, this book is being adapted to film, and will be released later this year!

Verity by Colleen Hoover - This is a little darker than my usual genre. The writing was fantastic, but I would not recommend to any TCT/pregnant/postpartum mama’s. I am looking forward to reading more from this author, but will probably stay away from this eery vibe for a while!

The After Series by Anna Todd - Obsessed with this series of novels, and low-key waiting for Hardin Scott to come whisk me away. Since that isn’t going to happen, I guess I will just indulge in the movies on Netflix!

You're Here For a Reason by Nancy Tillman - Tillman is my favorite children’s Author. Each book has such a beautiful message, and the artwork is amazing. We began our collection just after our son was born. Such an easy way to remind our babies they are loved.

I loved Where the Crawdads Sing. Looking forward to the movie!
