Milk Bath Photoshoot

Before I had children I never understood the significance of breastfeeding. I always supported moms who made this choice, but I’m a firm believer in “fed is best”. Now that I’m a mom, and embarking on my own breastfeeding journey, I understand the importance of the term liquid gold. It does not come easy! After all of the time and effort Colton and I have put into our breastfeeding relationship, why not celebrate with a fun milk bath?! Check out the list below to see what we used to make this adorable shoot happen. Milk on mamas!

Not a breastfeeding mama? No worries! This fun photoshoot can be done by simply replacing breastmilk with your milk of choice.

1. Milk – I used roughly 20 oz. of pumped milk. Perfect time to dive into a soon-to-expire freezer stash or pumped milk after having a few glasses of wine! Mix the milk with water until you get the desired color.

2. Galvanized Tub – We used this cute and affordable tub. We also get plenty of use out of it as an outdoor drink cooler for summer cookouts!

3. Greenery – This just adds an extra pop of color to the photos. You could use any floral or greenery you choose!

We put all of this in a well lit area underneath a beautiful dogwood tree in our front yard. Add your beautiful babe, and you’ll be sure to cherish these pictures for a lifetime!
