Pizza Party

One of my favorite things to do with the kids is get them involved in the kitchen. Being my sous chef even encourages Colton to try new things. Yes, it is messy and can prolong the process, but the memories made are priceless, and well worth the clean-up! Seeing the pride on my boys face after making his own meal or dessert is irreplaceable, and something I think every parent should witness. With that in mind, I have decided to add “Cooking with Colton” to the blog! First up, pizza party! Scroll down to see how we made this pizza party, toddler approved!

Ingredients:

  1. Pizza Crust

  2. Pizza Sauce

  3. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

  4. Toppings - we chose broccoli and orange peppers

  5. Flour

Additional Items Needed:

  1. Cookie Cutters

  2. Parchment paper

  3. Aluminum Foil

  4. Baking sheet

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees

  2. Flour your surface and evenly roll out your dough

  3. Use your cookie cutter shapes of choice to cut your pizzas out of the dough and place them on a piece of parchment paper. We made three large four leaf clovers!

  4. Top your dough with sauce, cheese, and toppings.

  5. Place pizzas on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil

  6. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted.

  7. Have fun and let your child take the lead on this recipe! Enjoy!
